Let’s Meet Our Neighbors!

We know you’re tired of a political and economic system that leaves us feeling hopeless, helpless, and frankly quite lonely - we are too. On one hand it’s disappointing when the politicians who claim to represent us lose, and it’s even more discouraging when they do win, and still fail to deliver on material changes for our communities.

One must wonder: Maybe we’re so tired because we’re committing our energy towards leaders that don’t really answer to us. Maybe we need to start placing that energy and faith in our communities.

Every time we lend a hand to our neighbor, every meal we give expecting nothing in return, we’re one step closer to a society where helping each other is not a radical idea, but the norm. That’s the world we want to live in.

We’re building a movement of ordinary people who want to make a tangible difference in the real world. We support conversation and action that encourage true participation in one’s community in the form of “mutual aid” - a support system where the working class helps itself, that we would help each other for the expressed goal of building a robust community.

So see our calendar below, and join our community! We’re hoping to aggregate our “acts of kindness” to grow a movement of folks learning to meet, support, and befriend their neighbors.
